Workshop Terms and Conditions
In reserving a place on the workshop by paying the workshop fee, you are agreeing to accept the following conditions. The person who makes the booking does so on behalf of all the individuals included, and all are bound by the booking conditions.
Registration and Payment
Workshop registration or booking fees must be paid in full at the time of booking the workshop. We require payment within 7 days of receiving the registration form or your registration may be cancelled due to incompletion. Placements can only be confirmed upon completion of the registration form and receipt of payment. Upon complete registration, our facilitator will contact you so that there is an opportunity to ask any questions or enquire about specific needs you may have prior to workshop begins and to confirm your booking.
Health & Wellbeing
The objective of this workshop is to promote awareness of mind and body through the cultivation of mindful awareness. To receive the full benefit of the mindfulness experience requires regular class attendance and regular at-home practice. The workshop and practices do not provide counselling or medical treatment and if you are, or believe you may be; suffering any physical or mental condition, please seek advice from your doctor prior to booking a workshop. By enrolling, you agree to be in a fit state to receive a normal range of facilitated mindfulness practices, without any exceptions for physical and mental infirmity, incapacity or hyper-sensitivity to such mindfulness practices. In the event of any condition that presents a barrier to training it may still be possible to proceed with training on a one-to-one basis, but not in a group class. This matter can only be decided upon consultation and agreement with a representative of Connected Sense in advance of any workshop and in conjunction with a medical professional. Connected Sense reserves the right to request participants to leave the course (without recompense) if their behaviour is not conducive to a team environment.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Connected Sense rely on your confirmed attendance to make important arrangements for the workshop. When you sign up for a workshop, this include private and public workshop, you're making a commitment to your personal growth and/or creativity. We very much appreciate participants checking their personal schedule well ahead of the dates of a workshop to make sure there are no conflicts. If your cancellation is received more than 45 days prior to the beginning of the first workshop date, all of your fee will be refunded less $300 administrative fee. Cancellations requests made between 21 and 45 days will be charged 50% of the original workshop fee or permitted to a substitute someone for your reservation. Similarly, cancellation within the 21 days period prior to the first session, you will be permitted to substitute someone for your reservation. For group participation, from time to time, there may not be sufficient numbers of participants to allow a training day to proceed. If this is the case, the full refunds of all monies paid will be made if a workshop is cancelled by us, or if the workshop is re-scheduled and you are unable to attend the new date but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred. Once the workshop starts, missed sessions will not be refunded. For private one-on-one session, we can offer you a replacement date if you notify us 48 hours prior to your next session. However, Connected Sense will offer a replacement date based on the facilitator's availability and the session will have to be fulfilled within 3 weeks otherwise it will be forfeited. Connected Sense reserves the right to reschedule date/s and venues during the course of the program if required without liability. A suggested date/venue will be notified and replacement date will have to be fulfilled within 3 weeks otherwise it will be forfeited. In the event that Connected Sense deems it necessary to cancel or discontinue a class, Connected Sense will refund any prorated balance within 10 business days. Any cancellation by Connected Sense shall not be considered a breach of agreement if it is caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, fire, floor, labour strikes, riots, wars, civil disorder, and terrorism. In the occurence of a cancellation due to Force Majeure, Connected Sense will refund any prorated balance. Under no circumstances will Connected Sense be liable for additional damages. No claims for refund shall be valid after the completion of the workshop.
Permissible use of Training and Training materials
Connected Sense offers workshops to participants to provide tools to manage stress. Our workshops are not intended to permit participants to deliver training themselves, therefore any and all workshop course materials are intended only for reference purposes when during the workshop and for practicing in private after the workshop. Unauthorised copying, distribution or other use of training materials will be seen as a serious breach of copyright. The use of recording devices is strictly not permitted during workshops at Connected Sense or at such programs sponsored or presented by Connected Sense.
Liability & Responsibility
Our workshops do not offer any form of qualification for the purpose of meeting any requirement of their employer that they would wish to work for. Participants acknowledge that they are responsible for their own wellbeing and assume the risk and responsibility for any injuries or damages suffered by them arising out of their participation in the workshop, and for any aspect of their healthcare, during and after the workshop. Connected Sense accepts no responsibility for loss of personal articles and effects, nor for personal accidents, injury, illness or death, nor for losses or additional expenses due to delays or damages in transportation or other services, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, or warlike conditions, weather or any other causes or for any of the above arising due to participant’s participation in the workshop.
Complaints & Dispute
For any complaint about our workshops, it must be made within 7 days of the end of the workshop, and in the unlikely event of any sort of dispute arising, litigation shall follow the jurisdiction located in the Republic of Singapore. The total claims of the participant, with respect to issues of Professional Liability, will be limited to the amounts paid for the workshop in question.

Connected Sense reserves the right, at its discretion, to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice, and such revision shall be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Terms and Conditions at this website (www.connectedsense.sg).
